Memorial Day 2009
This year for Memorial Day we had Aunt Robin, Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Ty and Aunt Whitney up for a barbeque. We also had a good fun with dodgeball on the tramp going and a little bit of basketball. To end the night we did our tradition of going up to the cemetary and reminding our kids of what this holiday is all about. There was is always good spirit when we do this even though we don't know anyone that is buried up there.

Minature Golf Night
Last night Travis took us to this little putt putt golf course in Providence. I was pretty leary I must say because I didn't know how the kids would hold up doing 18 holes. We ended up have a great time. Levi even got into it when I let him out of the stroller. He would just throw his ball and crawl after it most of the time faster than the kids were walking. They had a live band and when we finished we sat and drank hot chocolate and listened. It was one fun night!

Funny Boy!!
Levi is such a funny boy. He already loves to tease, dance, climb and play with his brother and sisters. The other day he came crawling up the stairs and what did he have on but my sports bra. Then a couple of days later he was outside and was making faces on the glass of the front door. No wonder that window is always dirty!!!
DI Find of the month!!
One of our favorite activities is going to DI. The kids usually do chores before hand so they have $.75 to buy a toy with. Well, we were there the other day and I found this huge bag of these plastic figures for $4.00. If it keeps them happy for at least one day I'm happy. I think we will have a lot of fun with these this summer out in the sand box and with tubs of water outside.

Fishing
Yesterday Travis finally took a day off and went fishing with the boys. Darrick, Nate and Shay came up on Friday night and they took off early on Saturday morning and the girls and Levi went shopping. The boys didn't have much luck so when they got back we all went up to a little reservoir by our house. We had a lot better luck there. Keri caught a little trout, Nate caught a little trout and Uncle Darrick caught a bass. It was so exciting to hear the kids scream everytime they got a bite. I'm sure there will be more fishing in our futures.

I wonder what Dad was doing taking a little mountain hike by himself!

Drive In!!
Today our Primary for church had a drive in movie for the kids at the church. All the kids had to make a box car to sit in and they sold popcorn, candy and cotton candy for "moo-la" the kids earned during singing times on sunday. It was so fun to see everyone elses cars but the best part was making our own. We made a giant school bus out of a refridgerater box (this way we only had to make one). It was quite the hit. The kids did most of the painting all by them selves and made quite the mess on the cement. Oh well, as Travis says "it is all part of the memories".

Walking the Halls!
On Friday Keri got to walk the halls with Pela the Panther for reaching the 100 point club. All the kids line the halls and give you high fives and clap for you as you circle the school halls. She had to read books and take tests on the computer. I think she probably read about 250-300 books to reach it. We were so proud of her.
